Cat Country Salutes Breast Cancer Survivors

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we're honoring local breast cancer survivors with our Breast Cancer Survivor Hero Wall.

According to the American Cancer Society, nearly 1 in 8 American women will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime.

Throughout October, with the help of Atlantic Medical Imaging, we'll establish the Breast Cancer Survivor Wall right here on our website. We invite you to help celebrate area women - or those with connections to the area - who have battled breast cancer.

Maybe looking over the pictures on our wall will help encourage other women to educate themselves and take the necessary medical steps to help prevent, diagnose, and treat this terrible disease.

Please nominate yourself or a woman you know who has battled breast cancer, so we may recognize as many heroes as possible.
