The result of the pandemic has left so many South Jersey residents unemployed or out of work and unable to provide for their dependents and families. NJ.com reports that a non-profit out of Philadelphia has promised almost a million dollars to help feed South Jersey's most vulnerable. The Reinvestment Fund has declared to distribute over $700k to various organizations in and around South Jersey in an effort to provide healthy and sustainable meals to children and the elderly.

NJ.com reports that a total of 41 organizations have been chosen to receive the money, all of which distribute a total of almost 100k meals a week to South Jersey residents in need.
