Huge Grant To Be Given To The Hungry of South Jersey
The coronavirus has done the entire nation dirty, but no state worse than ours. New Jersey has been struggling since Day 1 and would eventually be ranked as the worst state in regards to the number of COVID-19 cases. It's no secret that NJ was hit the worst.
The result of the pandemic has left so many South Jersey residents unemployed or out of work and unable to provide for their dependents and families. NJ.com reports that a non-profit out of Philadelphia has promised almost a million dollars to help feed South Jersey's most vulnerable. The Reinvestment Fund has declared to distribute over $700k to various organizations in and around South Jersey in an effort to provide healthy and sustainable meals to children and the elderly.
NJ.com reports that a total of 41 organizations have been chosen to receive the money, all of which distribute a total of almost 100k meals a week to South Jersey residents in need.
