Hundreds of Bags of Crack Cocaine Seized, Two Arrested in Atlantic City
Two people were arrested in Atlantic City on Friday and several hundred bags of crack cocaine were seized following a month-long investigation by police.
Members of the Atlantic City Police Department Special Investigations Section and the ACPD SWAT Team executed a search warrant at a house on the 500 North Block of Indiana Avenue. As a result, several hundred bags of crack cocaine were recovered which were packaged for street sale. Approximately $500 cash was also seized.
Arrested in the raid were 32-year-old Johnny Morgan and 37-year-old Robin Butcher, both of Atlantic City. Both Morgan and Butcher were charged with possession of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute, and distribution within 500 feet of public housing. Bail was set at $50,000 for Morgan, Butcher was released on her recognizance. Both suspects were found to have active warrants for their arrests on unrelated matters.
