Talk about adding injury to insult.

During the 9th inning of the cross-town match-up between the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago White Sox, two different fans jumped onto the field during play.

To be fair, watching the Chicago White Sox this season would lead many fans to do crazy things. The White Sox currently own the worst record in MLB by a pretty significant margin. In fact, the Pale Hose are on pace for the most losses in an MLB season, so their fans have seen some misery.

The first fan had the normal experience of jumping on to a field which almost always ends with being tackled by security, placed under arrest and then led off the field toward a court date. But not before making the security earn their check with a good game of chase.

The second fan had a much more unique experience. When the 28-year-old man jumped onto the field from the outfield bleachers, he broke his ankle. Thankfully some other fans caught the aftermath on video. (Note: the video includes some strong language from the man about the White Sox around the 50 second mark.)

Both men were charged with felony criminal trespass, according to Chicago Police. No word on how long the broken ankle will keep the fan sidelined.

18 Country Artists That Kind of Disappeared

"Who I Am" and "Ode to Billie Joe" are songs we all know the words to — we've sung along to them on more than one occasion — they were huge hits! But what ever happened to Jessica Andrews and Bobbie Gentry?

You'll often find us reminiscing over some of our favorite artists who took a break from music, whether to start a family, solely write songs ... or just plain vanish(?!).
