A motor vehicle accident turned fatal for a teenager from Millville, New Jersey after he got electrocuted.

The tragedy took place in Cumberland County on Saturday just after 6 p.m.

That's when the 17-year-old lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a utility pole along East Point Road in Maurice River Township, according to Patch.com.

Even though the pole he hit broke in half, the teenage male drive and his passenger were reportedly not seriously injured from that accident, the incident would prove fatal for one of them.

The teen driver got out of his vehicle, began to walk south down East Point Road, where he unfortunately came into contact with a live wire. He got electrocuted, Patch.com reports, and after being taken to a nearby hospital, passed away.
