One New Jersey Beach Ranked Among Americas Most Beautiful

Over July 4th weekend here in South Jersey, it seemed liked everyone was on the beaches up and down the Jersey Shore. From Vacationers to year-round residents, everyone has their favorite beaches they visit throughout the summer months.

The South Jersey Shore Towns' top attraction is the beaches, which is why many coastal communities are relieved to be finally getting beach replenishment projects. While this disrupts small businesses during the summer months, Shore Towns like Avalon, Sea Isle City, and Stone Harbor were waiting too long for the federal government to fulfill their promise to help fight erosion issues.

A new survey that ranked the most beautiful beaches in the United States named one New Jersey Beach town in the top ten best in North America.

The research team at SpinBlitz analyzed hundreds of beaches around the United States to discover where people can find the most beautiful beaches. They accumulated an overall score on a scale of 1-10 for each USA beach on the following criteria:

*Scenic beauty
*Crowd levels
*Range of positive and negative visual characteristics
*Postcard-worthy views

According to a press release, SpinBlitz revealed the Top Ten Most Beautiful Beaches across the United States includes Avalon, New Jersey with a 9.75 Beach Beauty Index Score. This lands Avalon at 7th on the list, only three-hundredths behind Siesta Key Beach in Florida.
