Atlantic County Closures For Sunday, January 25, 2026

  • The Atlantic County Animal Shelter in
    Pleasantville, New Jersey.
  • The Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery
    Office — Estell Manor, New Jersey.
  • The Atlantic County Parks offices, which are located at the Nature Center in Estell Manor, as well as
    the Lake Lenape boat house in Mays
    Landing, New Jersey.

New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill — State of Emergency

Governor Sherrill has issued a state of emergency in advance of the snow storm — which will take affect at 5:00 p.m., today, Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Governor Sherrill will speak today at 3:00 p.m. to address the storm.

Governor Warns Against Price Gouging

Price gouging is a particularly nasty thing that some unscrupulous actors perpetrate during a time of emergency.

The New Jersey Attorney General's office has warned everyone against price gouging for essential items in advance of the winter storm.

it is a violation of State law for a seller to excessively increase prices during a declared state of emergency.

The price gouging law stays in effect for 30 days after the state of emergency ends.

Price gouging occurs when someone increases their prices by more than 10 % during a state of emergency.

FREE PARKING FOR RESIDENTS AT ATLANTIC CITY WAVE PARKING GARAGE

Free Parking will be available for residents of Atlantic City at the Wave Parking Garage, located at Mississippi and Fairmont avenues from 12:00 noon today (Saturday) through 12:00 noon this Tuesday.
