Breeze Airways Adds Nonstop Tampa Flights from Atlantic City
The newest carrier at Atlantic City International Airport has announced new non-stop service to a big city in Florida.
It was just a few weeks ago that officials with the South Jersey Transportation Authority broke the news that Breeze Airways would begin flying in and out of ACY, and now those in snowy Southern New Jersey will have an easy way to get to Tampa.
Hopefully, when service begins this summer, most of the snow from Monday's blizzard will be gone...
When ACY-Tampa Service Begins
Breeze Airways says a new nonstop route to Tampa from Atlantic City, with service on Wednesdays and Saturdays, will start July 1st.
Fares for the new route will start from $79 one way. Those wishing to take advantage of that rate must buy their tickets between February 24th and March 2nd for travel between July 1st and September 15th. Other restrictions and fees may apply.
Breeze CEO David Neeleman said, "Atlantic City is one of our newest markets, and we’re excited to already be expanding our service there."
Stephen F. Dougherty, executive director of the SJTA, was equally as excited. "We’re pleased to see our newest airline partner, Breeze Airways, expand its plans even before launching service at ACY."
Breeze Airways will officially begin service in Atlantic City in May, joining Spirit, Allegiant, and the bus service offered by American Airlines to PHL. Already, you can go to their website and book your flights to and from Charleston, SC, Raleigh/Durham, and now Tampa.
