Was it You? 2 People in New Jersey Sharing $1 Million Lottery Jackpot

They say there is no joy in possession without sharing and for two people in the Garden State, they are likely now overjoyed sharing a massive lottery jackpot.

You, too, would likely feel all warm and fuzzy inside if you suddenly had an extra $500,000 to play with.

Officials with the New Jersey Lottery said two people hit the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot this past Saturday night, November 25th.

The jackpot? $1,050,680.

That's $525,340 for each person, before taxes, of course.

Winning numbers

The winning numbers were 11, 23, 25, 26 and 45; the XTRA number was 02.

Winning locations

Those winning tickets were sold via the following locations:

• Bergen County: Krauszer’s Food Store on Prospect St. in Glen Rock

• Lotto.com, based in Hudson County

Each of those retailers will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling those winning tickets.
