If it seems like Jason Aldean is at No. 1 every few months with a new song, you’re not imagining things — it’s true. And this week, the Georgia native is back at the top with his latest No. 1 single ‘Fly Over States.’

Penned by Neil Thrasher and Michael Dulaney, ‘Fly Over States’ is the fifth single from Aldean’s ‘My Kinda Party’ album and is also his fifth consecutive No. 1 single from that particular album. Previous chart-toppers include the album’s title track, ‘Dirt Road Anthem,’ ‘Don’t You Wanna Stay’ and ‘Tattoos on This Town.’

“I’ve always loved this song, and I really hoped it would be a single eventually,” Aldean says of ‘Fly Over States.’ “I didn’t know we would get to put out five songs off this album, let alone have all of them go to No. one. It totally blows my mind. I’m really looking forward to the summer leg of the tour and getting some new music ready!”

Moving up closer to the No. 1 slot this week on the charts are Kip Moore‘s ‘Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck’ (No. 3), Zac Brown Band‘s ‘No Hurry’ (No. 4) and Carrie Underwood‘s ‘Good Girl’ (No. 5). Eric Church, Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan and Brantley Gilbert round out the rest of the Top 10 and are working their way up the charts.
