Some people would say there is no state in the nation that loves food more than New Jersey, and it's hard to deny because of our well-known love affair with great food.

That passion for great food has spawned some of the most amazing restaurants in the country, and we are proud of each and every one of them. It would stand to reason then that we would have some great food brands here in the Garden State as well, and we do.

Recently, the folks at Taste of Home named their choice for the most famous food brand out of New Jersey, and quite frankly, I took my guess before I scrolled to get their selection, and I was literally shocked to find out I got this one wrong.

I immediately thought of Campbell Soup. We've all heard the stories about the amazing beginnings of this company, and we are all well aware that Campbell's was a real part of food history here in New Jersey and in all our lives. But that is not the company these experts chose.

The one they selected is a huge company that I am embarrassed to say I didn't even know was in New Jersey.
