Italy

I'm sure, by now, you have heard that Pope Benedict XVI is resigning at the end of February.  He will be the first Pope since the 1500's to resign.  I'm not Catholic, but Pope Benedict XVI is very special to me.  My husband and I were lucky enough to be blessed by him while in Italy in 2011.

It's about that time when you start thinking about (or you've already booked!) your summer vacation.  What was your favorite vacation?

I'm Irish and German.  I married an Italian.  Holidays (especially the food) are more than just a celebration.  They are an experience.
