Both the Band Perry and the Today Show are at the Olympics in Rio, where the sibling trio performed their Team USA's official song "Live Forever" and their new single, "Comeback Kid," Thursday morning (Aug. 11).

For the televised debut of the song, the Band Perry dressed in white as they performed on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro as U.S. Olympic medalists looked on and absorbed the band's energy.

"Live Forever" was named Team USA’s official song for the 2016 Olympics. In April, the Band Perry revealed their excitement to attend the Olympic games for the first time after years of watching it on television.

“‘Live Forever’ is really about those moments that make you feel like you’re going to live forever and that really is the spirit of the Olympics,” Kimberly previously told co-hosts Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie. “We’re just really honored to bring that song to these guys.”

The 2016 Olympics kicked off Aug. 5 in Brazil, and the Band Perry have been along for the ride, sharing their travels with fans on social media.

"We just witnessed the @TeamUSA ladies win #GOLD in the gymnastics team finals!!! SO PROUD OF U ALY, GABBY, LAURIE, SIMONE, & MADISON! #Olympics #Rio 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸," they caption a photo on Instagram. The trio also got to witness Michael Phelps win his 20th Gold medal, which they celebrated with another post on the social sharing site.
