The Real-Life Von Trapp Family Sings ‘Edelweiss’
Flashback Friday, for sure.
A video has resurfaced and once again took the internet by storm. The Von Trapp family, whose real-life story inspired the legendary musical and movie 'The Sound of Music' starring Julie Andrews, broke out into song when out visiting a company in Columbus, Ohio.
The video touches so many people because, well, who wouldn't be moved by watching a legendary song being sung by the real family it's origin surrounds?
The video was shot back in 2013 when the great grandchildren of the Von Trapp's portrayed in the film stopped into an Ohio-based business and decided to sing the beloved musical number, giving those who witnessed it an experience no one else could have. The video has since gained almost 2 million views on Youtube alone.
They sound FABULOUS. Exactly how you'd expect a Von Trapp to sound.
