Woman Injured In Stafford Hit & Run

A hit and run accident on Route 72 in Stafford Township is under investigation this morning.

A 33-year-old woman was walking near the Honda dealership when she was struck by a Subaru truck. She was airlifted to Atlanticcare Medical Center in Atlantic City. A piece of the vehicle’s wheel well broke off but police believe it was a 2003 – 2011 model Subaru Impreza. The color isn’t known at this point. The unidentified victim remains in critical condition with severe injuries.
