LOOK UP! You Won’t See This In NJ Sky Again For Over 10 Years

There's something about summer nights that sets them apart. Whether it's the mystique of what the night may bring or just the warm night air that brings about that nostalgic feeling, people can't get enough of stargazing in the summertime. With the luxury of the shore so close to us, that's especially true here in the Garden State.

You're going to want to keep your eyes on the sky this month here in New Jersey because something is about to happen that you won't witness again for quite some time. In fact, you'll be over a decade older once an occurrence like this even shows up in the sky again. Do I have your attention now?

You may or may not be aware of the fact that a beautiful Sturgeon Moon shined brightly in the Jersey skies at the very beginning of August. If you had the chance to look up and see it, you already know that it was quite the sight to see. If not, well, as nature would have it, you're about to get another chance to catch it.

There will be another supermoon visible in the skies over New Jersey later on in August. Multiple sources report that a Blue Moon will be visible on August 30th. Now, New Jersey has seen this happen before back in 2018, but the experts say that we probably won't get witness two supermoons in one month again until the year 2037. That means we have almost 15 years to wait until we see this phenomenon again.

I don't know about you, but I don't want to miss it. My calendar will be marked for the 30th, that's for sure. Don't forget to look up!
