96 Year Old Pleasantville Woman Attacked in Her Home

Police in Pleasantville are asking for the public's help in finding the person responsible for attacking an elderly woman in her home.

The woman was sexually assaulted, beaten and robbed.

According to the Associated Press:

  Relatives believe the masked suspect sneaked into the woman's Pleasantville home when she went outside to get a newspaper early Saturday.
Relatives, who asked not to be named to protect her identity, told WMGM-TV she said the suspect knocked her on the floor and tried to strangle her.
