Ah, fall in the Garden State.

Sure, it's beautiful. The leaves are changing, the colors are bright, everyone is starting to get used to their back-to-school schedules... it's a good time here in New Jersey.

In true New Jersey fashion, it's also a good time to celebrate. Celebrate what, you may ask? Well, being alive, of course! All while sampling as many Bavarian soft pretzels as you can.

Where can you engage in such frivolity? You'll find all the fun on the boardwalk right in the heart of Wildwood. Morey's Piers has officially kicked off their annual Oktoberfest celebration! It commenced on Friday, September 15th and lasts all the way through Sunday, October 8th.

Who says the beach towns shut down after Labor Day? Us locals know that's not true.

Get ready for great live entertainment every weekend from now through October 7th. Don't forget about the incredible food and drink specials, too. Oh, and if you're wondering whether or not you can still bring the kiddos to get on some rides, the answer to that is "yes," as well!

It's all going down on Mariner's Pier. Here's what you need to know.

Schedule:

- Fridays: 6:30 pm-10:30p

- Saturdays: 1:00 pm 5:00 pm, then 6:30 pm-10:30 pm

- Sundays: 1:00 pm-4:00 pm

Take note of that break on Saturdays! The festival runs from 1-5p on Saturdays, but then breaks for an hour and a half. It resumes all night from 6:30-10:30. That's the best day to bring the kids, in my opinion. Let them have their fun during the day, but then it's the adults' turn at night.
