You talk to them every single day; it almost feels like they're human. Whether you say "Okay, Google" into your Android, "Hey, Siri" into your iPhone, or "Alexa" to your Amazon Echo, chances are that you use some version of a smart voice assistant at least once a day. It's now become normal to literally talk *to* our technology.

Usually, when one uses the services of a voice assistant, that voice speaks as a female. The user does have the option of switching the settings to male, but most use the female voice as research shows this is the most preferred version. Yahoo News reports that a new voice assistant has been created; one that does not identify as either male or female. "Q" is a non-binary voice assistant whose purpose, as stated in the video, is an attempt push society towards accepting the idea of gender neutrality.
