Local Teen Found Shot to Death in Pleasantville Field

A Pleasantville teenager was found dead in an open field Friday, the victim of gunshot wounds.

Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain says Pleasantville Police responded to the scene Friday for a report of a body lying in a field. Police say the young man was dead when they arrived.

While next-of-kin have been identified, police have not released the man's identity to the public.
