Pleasantville Man Shot and Killed This Morning

An overnight shooting in Pleasantville has left a local man dead.

According to Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain, Pleasantville Police responded to a

9-1-1 call just after midnight on Atlantic Avenue.

Once on the scene, officers found a man lying in the road, the victim of a shooting. He was taken to the hospital, where he died. His name is currently being withheld.
