Sure, Halloween can be fun for adults. I love going to spooky attractions and attending all the fun parties. Once the actual holiday rolls around, however, that day is for the kiddos.

It's one of the best days of the year for most kids. They LOVE getting all the candy and stashing it away to pick at for the rest of the year.

Unfortunately, gone are the days when regardless of what neighborhood you were in, you couldn't lose. Unfortunately, some neighborhoods don't even participate in the festivities anymore. What a bummer for the kids, right?

So, what's a parent to do? Luckily, we live in the age of social media! Some have been turning to Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok lately to find out the best places to take their kids trick-or-treating.

In Mays Landing, it was determined that there are four neighborhoods where you can't go wrong for all the fun Halloween festivities:

🎃Timber Glen

Apparently, everybody in the condos over at Timber Glen across from Target really enjoy getting into the Halloween spirit. You should do pretty well over there.

Right off of the Black Horse Pike and Route 50, there's a cute little development that gets a lot of trick-or-treaters every year. Take the kids over there and let them walk around and have some fun. The blocks aren't super long, either, so you should be able to hit up a lot of houses.

Okay, so this one isn't technically in Mays Landing, but it's right on the border of Hamilton Township and Williamstown. It's BARELY not Mays Landing. Apparently, that place is crawling with kids every year. Almost everyone give out candy and decorates to the 9s, too. Check it out.

People can't help but rave about Cedar Point off of the Black Horse Pike going eastbound past Cologne Avenue. Apparently, this neighborhood goes all out every year. Somebody even brings in a food truck!

If you have any other suggestions about where kids should be trick-or-treating to get a good experience this year, let us know on the app!
