The clean-up continues! It's been almost a month since that derecho plowed across South Jersey, leaving hundreds of thousands of people without power.

The Atlantic County Office of Emergency Management says volunteers are available until August 18th to assist some senior citizens and disabled residents of Atlantic County that need trees cut or moved. These volunteers work free of charge and provide their own tools and equipment. If you need assistance or would like to volunteer, call 2-1-1, extension 21.
