What’s Your New Year’s Resolution?
Every January, my gym is packed. Packed with people that have made New Year’s resolutions to lose weight. By March, the gym is usually back to normal.
Do you make resolutions?
I make a resolution and (most of the time) I follow through. This year, I have two resolutions.
1. To be on time. This is going to be difficult. I am forever 5 to 10 minutes late. And I hate it. And it’s all my fault, I’m the only one responsible for being late. So, in 2013, I will stop being late. (Except this morning – LOL – the construction on the BHP in front of the Hamilton Mall caused me to be 10 minutes late. Grrrr. Why did they close the right lane at 8am on a weekday. I will never understand….)
2. To truly make myself happy and to be the best “me” I can be. Sounds sappy and silly. But, sometimes, I feel like I try to make everyone around me happy and then I get left behind. In 2013, I am going to do some things just to make myself happy. Go on a girls trip, buy a really nice purse, be the best employee I can be, etc. These things go by the wayside a lot. Not this year.
