NASA has been tracking an asteroid named 2019 WR3 and have labeled it as a NEO, or "near earth object."

WR3 is believed to have a diameter of between 250 to 550 feet and it is traveling just under 17,000 MPH. It will pass around 3,300,000 miles from earth.

Now, three million miles doesn't sound like that close of a pass, but when it comes to astronomical stuff, it's a scary close call. It may not be an apocalyptic event, but if something the size of the Great Pyramid slammed into the planet at that speed it could still be devastating.

We're not saying you should panic and quit your job or anything, but keeping an eye on the sky might give you a glimpse at something pretty cool.
