Carrie Underwood Admits Her Second Pregnancy Has Been Harder
Carrie Underwood may look absolutely flawless and glowing in the midst of her current pregnancy, but the singer is like many other women and admits that the second time around is a whole 'nother ballgame in terms of symptoms and bodily effects.
"It's definitely different than the first time," she told Entertainment Tonight while at the 2018 CMT Artists of The Year Event in Nashville Wednesday (Oct. 17). "When they say every pregnancy is different, it really is. Just different symptoms. I feel like this one is just a little harder on my body for some reason. But it's been really good."
The 35-year-old singer certainly looked good, donning a striking and sexy mini-dress for the event. But her reality is a little different, as she bemoaned to the outlet, "I'm squeezing myself into whatever dresses I can squeeze myself into."
Underwood went on to note that her 3-year-old son Isaiah (dad is retired NHL pro Mike Fisher) is excited to be a big brother, but that he has refused to change any "poopy diapers." Sounds fair enough, although Underwood mused that perhaps she could change his mind.
Underwood and Fisher announced in August that they were expecting their second child. She's also revealed her heartbreaking journey to this pregnancy, having endured three miscarriages prior to her good news. She's been applauded for her bravery and honesty in sharing this struggle, with peers such as Kelly Clarkson offering praise.
