Does Paula Deen Have Type 2 Diabetes?

Does the queen of butter have type 2 diabetes?   Paula Deen, who's 64 years old, is rumored to announce that she has the disease on the Today Show Tuesday.  She also plans to sign on as spokeswoman for a Novartis drug that treats the disease.

Last week on her Twitter account, Paula posted a picture of herself on a treadmill with the caption,

"They say Southern girls don't sweat, but honey I'm willing to argue that after my workout today"

Good for you Paula!  Way to break a sweat!

Paula's son Bobby is fighting the fight as well with a new show on The Cooking Channel called, "Not My Mama's Meals," where he creates healthier versions of his mother's old school Southern recipes.
