This young girl, Philadelphia native Nevaeh Robinson, was set on fire earlier this month as she was waiting at the bus stop.

For people who swear up and down that bullying isn't as much of a problem as the media makes it out to be, here is your proof to the contrary.

CBS Philly reports that Nevaeh had to put the fire out with her hands. You read that correctly - her bare hands. And, what did the other children who witnessed the incident do to help? Nothing. They stood there laughing.

This is exactly why it's so important to keep the spotlight on the issue of bullying in our society. Not only is cyber bullying awful and more prevalent than ever before, but physical bullying is still an issue as well.

Nevaeh's mother, Tanya Robinson, told CBS that the only reason her daughter is alive is because of the hairstyle Nevaeh donned on the day of the assault. Make no mistake, that's exactly what this was - assault. Most would even go as far to call it attempted murder.

Tanya is pushing for the expulsion of the child at fault.
