There are still a few weeks left of summer vacation. If you are planning on hopping on a plane in the future you might want to keep this in mind.

If you are an conscientious air passenger you might want to stay away from Diet Coke.

According to the blog These Gold Wings, Diet Coke takes the longest to pour.

Apparently, the high altitude and the fact that the cabin is not pressurized to sea level causes "...soft drinks [to] foam up a lot more when poured out of a can."

The worst soft drink is Diet Coke. The blog post suggests that if a flight attendant has orders for Diet coke, start them first as you take care of other passengers. It takes a while for the bubbles to fall in Diet Coke, which makes the pouring process take longer.

The Jet Attendant on YouTube posted this video to help with the Diet Coke pouring process:

I asked a friend of mine who is a flight attendant and she said that her trick was to put the ice in after pouring.

So, if you want to be a more considerate passenger on a plane and want to take up less of the flight attendant's time just don't ask for Diet Coke.
