VERY BEST Small Town To Retire In NJ Is Among Best In Nation

Everyone wants to find a great place to retire and enjoy their time by living in an area that is safe, scenic, and serene. A place where you can relax and enjoy life. Less crime, less traffic, and less noise. A place we all dream about. One such place does exist in the Garden State and we want to share it with you.

According to Stacker, The best place to retire in New Jersey is in Ocean County in the town of Surf City which sits on the beach on Long Beach Island. "A 2024 analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data found that in 2023, more than 338,000 Americans relocated upon retirement, the highest number in three years. With home prices soaring across the country—and many retirees not having enough savings to get through their golden years—small towns can appeal to those who want a slower pace of life and lower cost of living."

If you were or are retiring, would you want to settle down in a beach community? Before you know it for many people retirement is not that far away and it's always a good idea to have a game plan when it comes to any of life's big moments. Surf City is a nice community on beautiful Long Beach Island and if I had maybe one "red flag" it would be that there are a lot of tourists in the summer, but for many summer is the best time at the Jersey Shore, so it's a bit of give and take there.
