Atlantic City Police say a man from Washington, DC, was arrested early Sunday morning after they say he assaulted and threatened to shoot a woman.

Just before 4:30 Sunday morning, cops responded to the Pic-A-Lilli Pub on Tennessee Avenue in the city for a report of a woman being assaulted, according to a press release.

Officers arrived to find the 25-year-old victim had sustained injuries after being punched multiple times by 39-year-old Landry Deorzan of Washington, DC. Authorities say Deorzan also threatened to shoot the victim and showed her a handgun on his hip.

After assaulting the victim, Deorzan left the bar. Officers were able to track Deorzan down at South Carolina and Atlantic Avenues where he was arrested and a loaded gun was recovered from a vehicle.

Deorzan, also known as Landry Johnson), was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, certain person not to possess a weapon, possession of an extended magazine, and terroristic threats. Deorzan was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
