New Jersey Ranked 7th In US For Least Hangovers, Survey Finds
Remember how great you'd feel waking up after a night of partying in your 20s?
28 to 30-year-olds... looking at you, too.
Once you reach a certain age, you're lucky if you can even crawl out of bed in the morning.
Apparently here in the Garden State, we're not people that have to worry about that feeling too much. I can only speak for myself, but I'll admit that a certain mindfulness comes into play once you reach a certain age. I certainly don't party as hard as I did in my early to mid-twenties.
Are there some nights that I wish I didn't have to experience so far in my 30s? There sure are. I can confidently say, however, that they are few and far between.
In New Jersey, we're all doing a pretty good job of prioritizing our health lately. That's why, collectively, we're not experiencing the consequences of partying too hard like people are in the rest of the country.
A new survey has determined that New Jersey is the state 7th LEAST likely to experience a hangover. That means that the majority of the country is either partying a lot harder than we are or not taking the precautionary steps to prevent one like the NJ residents do.
When I know I'll be indulging in a few drinks, I try to make sure not to do so on an empty stomach. Sometimes I fall short of the necessary preparations for which I DO NOT thank myself for come the following morning, but usually I'm pretty good with prepping my body for a night out.
In case you're wondering from which state people are MOST likely to endure a hangover, that answer is North Dakota.
Not too surprised, right? I'm not sure there's much to do in North Dakota, so it makes sense.
