Hurricane Dorian swept through the Bahamas 2 weeks ago taking everything in its path as victims.

Luckily, these little guys managed to escape. Some pets were not so lucky, but these cats were some of the lucky ones. NJ.com reports that you can adopt some of the little kitties that were rescued from the wreckage of the hurricane and you don't even have to travel far to do so!

These adorable little ones are currently being sheltered at the St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center in Madison, NJ. The Humane Society of Grand Bahama was super grateful to St. Hubert's for taking in so many animals with no place to go. They shared a heartfelt message expressing their gratitude to all those people and organizations that volunteered their time, funds, and efforts in an attempt to save as many animals as possible.
