Contrary to what the school had previously promised, Stockton University is now requiring all students returning for the fall semester to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Press of Atlantic City reported last month that both Rowan and Stockton were not planning on making a COVID-19 vaccine mandatory for students wishing to return to in-person learning at the start of the 2021 fall semester. Now, it seems Stockton University is going back on their word as they've announced that all students going back must not do so without getting the stick.

Apparently, it's not even so much the students that are flustered by this, but the parents. Many have sounded off in the comments saying they believe Stockton mandating the vaccine while they're not FDA approved is a violation of the students' civil liberties. Stockton has not yet revealed whether or not they will be extending that mandate to include faculty and staff.
