Police in Galloway are looking for a Mr. Galloway. Really.

According to police, James Galloway, 35, bolted from police during a traffic stop, and they'd like the public's help in finding him.

Police say K-9 Sgt. Scott Winneberger made a traffic stop on Wrangleboro Road Wednesday night. When the officer was speaking to the driver, the driver sped off, striking Winneberger. Winneberger sustained minor injuries.

The vehicle was found crashed a short distance from the scene of the stop and the driver had fled on foot. Further investigation resulted in the driver being identified as James Gallaway of Galloway Township. Gallaway could not be located. Heroin was found in the vehicle.

Warrants for Gallaway have been issued for Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, Assault by Auto, Eluding, Obstruction, Possession of CDS, and numerous motor vehicle violation

Police describe Galloway as a black male,  5’8” tall and weighing approximately 160 lbs. with a slender build. Police say he frequents Galloway Township and Pleasantville.
