The body of a young female was found in Galloway Township back in 1971, and police in Galloway are still looking to find out who she was.

According the their Facebook page, Galloway Police are attempting to solve the mystery of the girl's identity. Her body was found in a wooded area along the Garden State Parkway. As recently as 2013, DNA was captured from the skeletal remains and uploaded to a national database.

A big clue in the case is believed to be the bracelet/watch pictured above. She was wearing the bracelet when her body was found. It's believed the watch was attached to the bracelet, and that it was not purchased that way.

An artist from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children did a facial reconstruction to show what the girl may have looked like. She described as between 14 and 18 years of age.

Anyone with information leading to the identification and or arrest of the suspect in this case is asked to please contact Lt. Donna Higbee at (609) 652-3705 ext 328.
