Police Identify Galloway Woman as Pedestrian Killed in Rt.30 Crash

A car struck and killed a pedestrian on the White Horse Pike in Galloway Monday afternoon.

According to Galloway Police, the accident was reported just after 4:30 yesterday, on the White Horse Pike (Route 30), at South Sixth Street.

Police say a car driven by Steven Mills, 46, of Pleasantville struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian has recently been identified as Melissa A. Kriss of Galloway Township.

The accident remains under investigation. The road's eastbound lanes were closed for about 3 hours following the accident.
