10 April Fools Day Pranks to Try this Year

Unfortunately, April Fools Day falls on a Saturday this year, but if you have work you can still pull this one off. Tape an air horn under your victims desk chair. Make sure it is just touching the bottom part of the chair. When they go to sit down the chair will lower a bit making the air horn go off. Make sure you have your ear plugs in.

Again, it stinks tomorrow is Saturday. You can do this at home too if you have a desktop computer. You don't have to use a picture of yourself, any picture will do. Tape it right over the light on the bottom of the mouse. When someone goes to use the mouse it won't work and will have the delight of seeing your beautiful face when they turn it over to see what's wrong.

This is cruel, but funny at the same time. Isn't that the same with all pranks? You can either cover it in chocolate or caramel. It will look just like an apple, which fool your unsuspecting chump.

This one was submitted by Debbie from Cape May Court House who tried this on her kids. You take the cream out of the Oreos and replace it with toothpaste. She said she left them out on the counter to entice her kids to eat them.

This works best on people that are terrified of bugs. Print out a silhouette of a bug and cut it out. Tape it on the inside of a lap shade and turn it on.  It will look like that bug is crawling around and will really freak someone out.

You can cover anything in Post-It Notes. Yes, this will take you a long time, but the results are satisfying. Trust me, I've done it. Cover a friend's car, office, room, or anything else you can think of.

I know from experience this can be so much fun. Plastic wrap a friend's car. They might be pretty mad because it will take them forever to get it unwrapped, but it's well worth it.

I may have been inspired by The Office for this one. You need a day to prep this or at least overnight. Take some stuff from your target and make some Jello. Put a hairbrush, keys, toothbrush, pens, or anything else that won't get damaged in a container of freshly made Jello. Once it cools down it will be trapped in the Jello.

This prank only requires some food coloring. Wipe the inside of a faucet or shower head with red food coloring. When they turn on the water it will come out red. You can use any color your heart desires. I highly suggest using food color gel, it's thicker and more concentrated so you'll get a more dramatic effect.

This will take a few days to prepare and some skill. Take apart someone's keyboard lay some damp paper towels where you can. This is where the skill comes in. you want to make the keyboard workable. Put some grass seed on the towels or any other seed that doesn't need much water, are tiny, and germinate quickly. Then wait by as their keyboard turns into a beautiful garden.
