
14-year-old Boy Wounded in Drive-by Shooting in Bridgeton
Police in Bridgeton say a 14-year-old boy was wounded during a drive-by shooting in the city Friday afternoon.
Authorities say around 3PM Friday, a blue van, occupied by three or four men who were wearing masks, drove past a home on Elmer Street and fired several rounds before leaving the area
During the gunfire, a 14-year-old was shot in the ankle.
Responding officers found that numerous homes and vehicles had been bit by bullets; five spent casings were found in the street.
Police did not provide any information regarding the wounded boy's condition as of Sunday morning.
