The Atlantic City Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying people in over 200 pictures that were released today, nearly one month after rioting and looting in the city.

According to the ACPD, investigators reviewed hundreds of hours of video from cameras following riots and looting on May 31st, resulting in the identification of suspects who will be criminally charged at the completion of the investigation.

Chief of Police Henry M. White Jr. said in a press release,

"The Atlantic City Police Department respects and supports those who exercise their First Amendment rights, including the right to peacefully protest. Individuals should not have their constitutionally protected rights hijacked by individuals committing criminal activity. The release of the photographs and footage followed a month of legwork by a special task force created by the Atlantic City Police Department to hold people accountable for the serious crimes that occurred during the protest on May 31, specifically in the area of Tanger Outlets Atlantic City.”

The release of information comes just days before another planned protest in Atlantic City where the organizer says he will shut down the city on one of the busiest days of the year. The Pagan's Motorcycle Club has expressed an interest in counter-protesting at that event.

Anyone with information about the identity of any of the people pictured is asked to contact Atlantic City Police at (609) 343-3771. Authorities ask you to reference the picture's number if you call with information.
