The title says that a four-second workout is beneficial to those of us working from home while stuck in quarantine. It may sound like a load of garbage, but it actually turns out to be incredible true.

The results of a new study conducted by the American College of Sports Medicine suggest that workers currently trapped at home could experience a significant change in the way foods are processed and broken down in their bodies. By exerting yourself to your full potential for four seconds on, say, a stationary bike, you increase your metabolic rate so much so that with the continued habit, you can reduce your risk of heart disease and diabetes.

The key here is to repeat the four-second workout 5 times with a 45 second rest in between.

The goal is to repeat this process every hour that you work in order to break up the amount of time you spend in one spot. Listen, if working out in four-second intervals can potentially limit your chance of heart disease, who wouldn't at least want to TRY it?
