An Atlantic City man is facing a long list of charges after cops say he was found to be in possession of two guns and drugs.

25-year-old Gerald Spence is facing three counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), two counts each of unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense, and a single count of possession with intent to distribute, possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone, possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone, and certain person not to possess a weapon charges after being arrested on Friday.

The ACPD says one of their detectives received information regarding a man distributing heroin and in possession of a weapon. An investigation began and the detective located the suspect, Gerald Spence.

According to a press release, detectives followed Spence to Iowa and Pacific Avenues where they observed him with a large bag. As the detectives approached, Spence had a bag of cocaine in his hand. He was taken into custody. As the investigation continued, detectives located two loaded handguns, 1,600 bags of heroin, 38 grams of marijuana, a small amount of cocaine, and $4,323 in cash.

Spence was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
