Georgia's 5 Faves: A Weekly Dish of Fun New Things!

This week on Georgia's 5 Faves - I'm all about some new food products - plus coconut oil!

1. Coconut Oil -

There are literally hundreds of uses for coconut oil. You can use it instead of oil and butter in cooking, you can use it to remove makeup, you can use it as a deep conditioner for your hair, etc etc. Lately, I've been using it as a moisturizer. Coconut oil is a solid under 76 degrees and a liquid above that temperature, so it needs a little bit of coaxing to use it as a body oil, but it's well worth it. It makes your skin feel so soft and it helps with cellulite and stretch marks. It may be the most versatile product in your kitchen or bathroom!

2. Bare Minerals Silk Stockings Eyeshadow -

This is a light peachy, mildly sparkly eyeshadow. It's the perfect everyday shadow. I use it all over my lid and then contour in a darker shade into my crease. It's a nice look for work or play!

3. Bolthouse Farms Caesar Parmigiano Yogurt Dressing -

You can see in the picture above that this salad dressing has 45 calories per serving! That's awesome and it's tastes great too! They make a few different flavors of this dressing - ranch, cilantro avocado, honey mustard, etc. I've tried a few of them and they're all really good. It's a great alternative to a fat-filled creamy dressing when you're trying to watch the calories!

4. Sunbelt Bakery Low Fat Granola -

This has been a staple breakfast for me while training for the St. Jude Country Music Half Marathon. I eat 1/3 of a cup with about 3 ounces of Greek yogurt. Sometimes I'll top it with some berries. It's filling, super delicious and good for you!

5. Domino Sugar Cubes Dots -

I was never one to use a sugar cube.... Until recently... We went to the Poconos back in February with some friends for the weekend and we ended up taking this box of sugar cubes home after we packed up the house before leaving. Three little cubes equals a teaspoon and a half - which is perfect for me for a large cup of coffee. I will pick these up next time I go to the store because they're cute. And really no other reason.
