Great Adventure Set To Open SkyScreamer

It's you in a swing... 24 stories above the ground.

Six Flags Great Adventure is set to open a new ride for this season called SkyScreamer.  It's called that because that's what you will be doing that close to the sky.

You know those carnival swing rides where you're a few feet off the ground wedged into a smaller-than-your-butt seat?  This is just like that.  Only this ride is 242 feet high and at top speed, you'll be spiraling in a 98-foot circle at 40 MPH.  In the picture above, look at where you are compared to the trees in the park.

SkyScreamer opens to the public on May 23rd.
