Mad Mutz, Visit AC Send Local Teens to DJ Summer Camp
Mad Mutz Mozzarella Sticks and Visit AC are teaming up to sponsor two teens from the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City's Music production Program at the upcoming nXt@DJX Summer Camp at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, Aug. 11-13.
This collaboration gives two local teens the opportunity to develop valuable music and life skills, and shines a spotlight on the community’s dedication to nurturing talent and fostering future careers in the music industry.
The Boys & Girls Club Music Production Program gives youth ages 13–18 a hands-on experience in music creation, recording, and studio operations.
The nXt DJ Summer Camp
Gaining international notoriety since its launch in 2023, nXt@DJX Summer Camp returns to DJX ’25 - 35th Anniversary Celebration at Hard Rock Atlantic City..
The camp will run three 90-minute sessions over three days at the DJX'25 show, led by renowned DJ and educator Coach Hapa.
The selected teens from the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City will get hands-on instruction from industry pros who have performed with the likes of Michael Jackson, Drake, and Earth, Wind & Fire.
The program goes beyond mixing and beat-matching; it instills leadership, confidence, and teamwork, encouraging participants to become creative forces in their communities.
Shaping the Next Generation
“Atlantic City has always been a destination for world-class entertainment,” said Gary Musich, President and CEO of Visit Atlantic City.
“Now, we’re helping shape the next generation of performers right here in our own backyard. We’re proud to support programs that uplift our youth and connect them with transformative opportunities.”
Mad Mutz Is Atlantic City Proud
"Mad Mutz is thrilled to sponsor this endeavor with Visit Atlantic City," said Michael Burns, Co-owner of Atlantic City-based manufacturer Mad Mutz Mozzarella.
As our cheesy business grows in Atlantic City, we want to help ‘feed’ creativity in any way possible, especially when given the opportunity to help the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City and encourage local teens to follow their dreams towards a career in the music industry.”
Mad Mutz co-owner and Tony Boloney's owner, Michael Hauke, added, "Creativity within any industry is crucial for the inception of new ideas."
"The culinary industry, just like the music industry, needs to continue to foster innovation and invention.
This is why Mad Mutz is 100% on board with assisting local teens so that they can gain access to nXT DJ Camp to tap into some of the best talent in the business.”
