On Tuesday, July 21, Kassan Fundenberg, 31, of Mays Landing, was sentenced to three years in New Jersey State Prison on three separate counts of third-degree possession of controlled dangerous substances with intent to distribute.

The sentences will be served concurrently.

Fundenberg had been pressing his luck with Atlantic City Police, as you will see in a breakdown of his three recent arrests.

His First Offense

On December 26, 2025, Atlantic City police officers witnessed Fundenberg handing drugs to a woman.

Fundenberg handed the woman a small white object consistent with packaged heroin in exchange for money. The female was found with 108 wax folds containing fentanyl. Fundenberg had  $34.with him that the cops counted as drug money.

His Second Offense

On January 13, Atlantic City police officers saw Fundenberg drop a clear plastic bag from his pocket containing a white rock-like substance consistent with cocaine.

The plastic bag containing approximately 5.31 grams of cocaine was seized from Fundenberg’s pocket, and $395 He swas arrested again.

Fundenberg's Third Offense

On March 17, Atlantic City police officers stopped Fundenberg because he had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court.

Fundenberg was arrested, and 37 wax folds of fentanyl along with 12 clear vials of cocaine (.46 grams) were found in Fundenberg’s sweatshirt, and $47 in cash.
