Grammy, Oscar-Winning Singer Billie Eilish Returning to Philadelphia, PA
Grammy and Oscar-winning singer/songwriter Billie Eilish is going out on tour and stopping in Philadelphia this fall.
Yes, THAT Billie Eilish. The one who now has TWO Academy Awards to her name at the ripe old age of 22.
Eilish is the musician who became a lyrical spokesperson for the Barbie movie co-writing and singing its Oscar-winning theme song, 'What Was I Made For?'.
Not only did the song win her and brother Finneas an Academy Award, it won them a Golden Globe Award, too.
Billie Eilish Announces New Album
Billie said 'What Was I Made For?' ended up providing a lot of inspiration for her forthcoming album Hit Me Hard and Soft, which drops on May 17th.
Of the project Eilish says, '“I feel like this album is me. It’s not a character. It feels like the When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? version of me. It feels like my youth and who I was as a kid.”
Following the album release, Eilish will set out on a supporting tour which kicks off in Quebec, Canada at the end of September and brings her back to the City of Brotherly Love shortly thereafter.
