Eagles Legend Headlines New Wawa Super Sunday Commercial

Once a unique fixture for locals and visitors to New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Wawa has become one of the top five fastest-growing brands in the United States according to The Food Institute.

Since first opening Wawa Food Markets in the 1960s, the company has grown into one of the most popular convenience stores in the United States. Newsweek rated Wawa as the second-best convenience store retailer in America in 2024.

Now when viewers tune in to watch the Philadelphia Eagles play the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59, there will be a special Wawa Commercial featuring a special guest.

This Eagles Legend Is The Headliner For the Wawa Super Sunday Commercial

On the Wawa Social Media Platforms, they released a Teaser Trailer for the commercial to air on Super Sunday featuring....

Super Bowl 52 MVP Nick Foles.

Foles is the voice in the background of the commercial featuring Eagles fans. The 6'6" Quarterback talks about how the Eagles are underdogs in Super Bowl 59 with Wawa reminding people they are the official hoagie of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Selected in the 3rd Round of the 2012 NFL Draft, Nick Foles was originally a backup for Quarterback Michael Vick.  But in Foles's second season in the NFL had to play for the injured Vick and Nick Foles threw 27 Touchdowns in 13 games.

But then Head Coach Chip Kelly shipped Foles out of town and he almost retired from the NFL after a horrible experience with the St. Louis Rams.  Foles return to Philadelphia in 2017 became one of the most important Free Agency signings because of his role in the team that won Super Bowl 52.

The special Wawa commercial will air on Sunday right before the Kickoff of Super Bowl 59.
