Cedar Creek alum Bo Melton, a Mays Landing resident, had his biggest game as a pro on Sunday Night. The 24-year old caught six passes for 105 yards and his first NFL touchdown in the Green Bay Packers 33-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

He became the first Packers wide out to register over 100 yards receiving in a game this season.

Melton, was a 2022 seventh-round pick by the Seattle Seahawks, after playing his college football at Rutgers.

He was on the Packers practice squad for most of the season, and was thrust into action after and injury to Packers rookie wide receiver Jayden Reed.

Melton was a dual-threat at Cedar Creek, catching 51 passes for 766 yards and nine touchdowns, adding 451 yards on the ground and seven touchdowns as a senior and had 13 rushing touchdowns and 742 yards on the ground,  adding 31 catches for 676 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior.

For the season, Melton has 11 catches for 156 yards and a touchdown.
