This past Tuesday, June 2, 2026, Atlantic City, New Jersey Police Officers were just doing their job … serving a warrant. Without warning, a now dead suspect shot two of them.

Captain Christian Ivanov was shot and critically wounded. Incredible work on the scene to manage his profuse bleeding … and, the phenomenal work by AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center … brought Captain Ivanov back to his beautiful, young family.
